About This Quote
As a child, I used to play with my friends in the woods near our house. We would often come across a huge boulder as we were playing. Our first instinct was to climb it, but we were also aware that there was a small creek at the bottom of it. It looked like the perfect place to have a swim.
The problem was, we couldn’t find a way down. We tried to jump from one side of the boulder to the other, but we just couldn’t get enough momentum going to do that either. Eventually, we just gave up and went home, but that experience made me realize that even though you can’t see everything from where you are standing, there is often more to discover just out of sight.
Sometimes things are right in front of your face and you can’t see them because they are hidden behind something else. The same thing applies to life itself. There is beauty in everything, but if you can’t see it then it is invisible; you don’t exist.
